e-magine

i was at E-Magine this year and it was a ton of fun. there were a lot more people there than last year. ONW did ok on getting the awards, we could of gotten a lot more. but still as school we did well. the blue valley schools did well on their projects. i didn't personally have a favorite project because they were all really good. i think i have learned that i need to be a lot more creative on my work.

Kerning game

my score on the kerning game was a 65 out of 100. the game was fun but it was also hard. you had to move the letters around in places to make the font. after you compare it, it shows you how close you were actually from getting it exactly right. it would then give you a score out of 100. if i kept working with font and played this game again i bet i would get a higher score than 65.

google logo

in 1998 Sergey Brin created the Google Logo by using the type phase GIMP. the logo was created in a computerized program. the logo uses primary colors except for the l which is the color green. having the l be green shows that google dosn't have to follow the rules. the logo had new changes in 2009 in which the font became skinnier but the colors remained the same. i really like the google logo a lot. i think it's very unique, colorful, and very simple.

movie poster

Saul Bass's poster is 2 simple colors. I tried to make mine as simple as it could be. Saul used just orange and black, i used yellow, blue, and black. my movie poster is on the original barman movie which was made in 1968 based on the comic books like all the other marvel super heroes movies. i used the old bat man logo on a black background because the batman  movies are usually pretty dark. i then put the city of Gotham and used the clone tool to fill it in. i then added the the batman calling lights to symbol batman is coming
